If you receive this error:
“Could not load file or assembly ‘Microsoft.IdentityModel…’ “
when attempting to connect to Microsoft Dynamics 365 / CRM, this indicates that the Windows Identity Foundation pre-requisite is not installed.
Solution: This is a required component, which can be downloaded directly from the following Microsoft website.
Windows 8 Users:The Windows Identity Foundation actually comes pre-installed, but must be enabled by going to Windows Features, under: “Control Panel > Programs and Features”.
